also known as Camellia Sinensis.

150 grams of orthodox (hand-harvested) single origin Ceylon Broken Orange Pekoe Black Tea.

Grown organically in Sri Lanka.
Packaged in Naarm.

This aromatic black tea is sourced fresh from a certified organic tea plantation in southern Sri Lanka. Characteristic of a Broken Orange Pekoe, it is robust, but maintains a delicate complexity which makes it a pleasure to drink with or without milk/mylk and sweetener. It is tannic, malty and smooth, and is the base of our Sticky Chai Blend. Brew and drink as you usually would.

150 grams of tea is approximately 30 servings (depending on how strong you like it). This tea is packed by weight. Tea is best bought in small quantities as needed to maximise freshness and flavour.

Storage.

Store this tea in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place. Tea does not expire, but it loses its flavour over time. Best consumed within 1 year of purchase. Do not leave the tea in its original cellophane packaging for long-term storage.

Packaging.

Real Villains go against the grain. The NatureFlex cellophane packaging and sugarcane-fibre label are 100% home compostable and biodegrade under moisture. Chuck the bag and label in your worm farm or green bin to dispose of responsibly.

Sourcing.

This tea is sourced from small producers who pay their workers a fair living wage. We want our producers to be healthy and happy and we are against modern slavery in our supply chain.

We import our tea in small batches directly from these producers to reduce the amount of time they’re spent sitting in warehouses and losing precious flavour. We release these to you as soon as they come in stock. As a result, you’re receiving quality and freshness that you would not otherwise get from other companies that source from importers and wholesalers.

You will taste the difference (and thank us for it).
