Chai Gift Box
You've asked for this, and it's now here. The Chai Villain's Chai Gift Box is the perfect gift for that special someone in your life (perhaps yourself) who deserves a little spice in their life (with the way 2020 panned out, I'm sure there are several people you can think of that could do with some).
In creating this gift box, we didn't want a run-of-the-mill set of utensils that only fulfilled a single purpose. We didn't want a gift set that nice for a short time, until the sugar rush kicked in. We wanted something that supports small local artisan business and screamed style and quality without costing the Earth.
Here's what you'll find in it:
The Chai Villain’s Sticky Chai Blend
Indulge in the unapologetic mix of Organic Black Tea, Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey, and a blend of 8 spices, including Pure Ceylon Cinnamon & Australian Pink Salt. It's a flavour explosion in a bag.
Ghost Wares Slate Cup
This Melbourne-based ceramics studio has an emphasis on creating elegant but playful handmade objects. Suitable for use in dishwashers and microwave ovens. Take care when stacking and washing. Avoid thermal shock from rapid heating and cooling.
Tasmanian Organic Leatherwood Honey
Endemic to Tasmania, this pure honey is produced from untouched World Heritage Sites. The honey is naturally organic, intensely perfumed and deeply resinous with notes of citrus blossoms.
Pure Organic Ceylon Cinnamon
Pure Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is sweet and complex and our Chai is packed with it. You won't mistake it for the cheaper, woody Cassia Bark (which often gets labelled simply as "cinnamon"). This stuff is expensive - use it sparingly in your cooking.
Gunmetal Stainless-Steel Chai Strainer
Add 1 tbsp (or more, if you’re bad) of Chai Blend to 300ml of your choice of cold milk/mylk. Bring to a simmer, then kill the heat and let it sit for 4 minutes. Add a teaspoon of Leatherwood Honey if you’ve got a sweet tooth. Strain it into your Ghost Wares Slate Cup with your Chai strainer.
We believe that gifts should not compromise our impact on the environment. This is why this is a Zero-Landfill Gift Box. None of the items nor their packaging should end up in the General Waste bin.
